Bishkek, June 25 / Kabar /. Several tens of thousands of Muslims gathered in the old square of Bishkek for ait-namaz on the occasion of the Orozo Ait celebration.
Prime Minister Sooronbai Zheenbekov, Mayor of the capital Albek Ibraimov came to congratulate the Muslims, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor's office reported.
Members of the government, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, citizens and guests of the capital also took part in the ait-namaz.
Collective prayer was held under the leadership of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
Orozo Ait (Eid al-Fitr) is one of the two main Islamic holidays. The Feast of Orozo Ait will mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
