Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2017. /Kabar/. Festive prayer on Kurman Ait is held in Bishkek.

Muslims of Kyrgyzstan celebrate today one of the main Muslim holidays of Kurman Ait (Eid al-adha, the feast of sacrifice).

In Bishkek, tens of thousands of believers made a festive prayer. Prior to the beginning of Namaz, representatives of the clergy told mini-stories and hadiths, then the representatives of the authorities and the supreme mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksatbek azhy Toktomushev congratulated the participants of the event. After that, under the guidance of the Mufti, the prayer was read.

Festive namaz was also held in all the mosques of the capital.

Kurman Ait is a Muslim holiday of sacrifice. On this day its necessary to remember the deceased, help the needy and give out the meat of the sacrificial animal.
