Bishkek, Jan.29, 2020. /Kabar/. “Fight against shadow economy and increasing the openness of the economy is a difficult but extremely important task,” Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev said during the Coordinating Council on Tax and Customs Procedures' Digitalization, the Government’s press service said.
During the meeting, the implementation of measures related to the promotion of the relevant draft of the new version of the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, preparation for the launch of fiscal data operator and construction of the Data Processing Center was discussed.
In addition, measures on introduction of electronic invoices at enterprises, development of service model of population service were considered.
"Once again, I would like to remind you that one of our main tasks is the full-scale implementation of the fiscal system. We believe that this is the most effective method to combat the shadow economy. This will significantly increase state revenues and better solve pressing social problems," PM Abylgaziev said.
He stressed the Government is determined to consistently implement all stages of fiscalization system within the established time frame, despite any opposition.
"We must understand that the fight against shadow business and increasing the openness of the national economy is a difficult, but extremely important task.
Last year we have already managed to implement a number of difficult preparatory measures. I want to emphasize the system of fiscal and customs procedures should be fully implemented in the interests of the national economy,” the head of the Government stressed.
Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev instructed to intensify the work of the Coordinating Council in order to accelerate the process of promoting reforms.
