Bishkek, July 5, 2024. /Kabar/. In Dushanbe on July 3, a meeting was held between Minister of Finance of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Baketaev and Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Kakhhorzoda Fayziddin Sattora, as part of participation in a meeting of the electoral group of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB).
The parties discussed opportunities for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and ways to effectively use existing resources and potential to expand cooperation in the financial sector between the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Following the meeting, the parties intend to continue active interaction in further strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing joint initiatives aimed at improving economic conditions and financial stability in the regions.
