Fire in largest Dordoi market of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct, 2, 2018. / Kabar/. There was a fire at the Dordoi market in the north of Bishkek, the Emergencies Ministry reported.

Fire broke out in one of the containers and was put out at 18:37.

There are no victims and injures.

The area of fire and the cause of the fire are not identified.

Dordoi is the largest clothing market in Central Asia, in the suburb of Bishkek.

It emerged in 1991 as the main transshipment base for goods from China to the countries of Central Asia (mainly Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan) and the Asian part of Russia (Siberia and the Far East).
