Bishkek, May 20, 2021. / Kabar / . 908 fires occurred in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of 2021 (750 fires in 2020), 21.1% more in comparison with the last year.
The fires caused material damage in the amount of KGS 102 million (KGS 146 million in 4 months of 2020), compared to last year material damage decreased by 30.6%, the press service of the republic’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported Thursday.
17 people died in fires (in 2020 - 11 people), 30 people were injured. Ten human lives were saved.
