Bishkek, Nov. 23, 2017 / Kabar /. The American LDS Charities provided humanitarian assistance to the public charitable foundation "First Children's Hospice" in the form of medical equipment worth over $ 8 thousand.
The Ministry of Social Development reported that the part of the received equipment was handed over to equip the office of palliative care in the Belovodsk psychoneurological boarding house.
The children's boarding house was given equipment for 130 thousand soms, among them: anti-bedsore mattresses, Ambu bags, oxygen concentrator, medical aspirator.
First Children's Hospice in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Development opened in May 2017 a palliative care office in the Belovodsk psychoneurological boarding house, which has about 80 children in need of help.
As it turned out, there is no equipment in such institutions that would help in improving the quality of life of children.
LDS Charities is an American charity that provides humanitarian assistance outside geographical boundaries, religion and nationality. Since 2003, this organization has been providing humanitarian assistance to various institutions and projects in Kyrgyzstan through the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
