First day of President Jeenbekov’s working trip to Naryn Oblast

Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2020 /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov continues his working trips to the regions of the country.

According to the press service of the president, yesterday, Aug. 19 Jeenbekov started his two-day working visit to Naryn Oblast by visiting Kochkor region.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov familiarized with the implementation of the irrigation project, after the completion of which it will be possible to develop about 2.5 thousand hectares of new irrigated lands.

He also got acquainted with the process of reconstruction of internal roads of the region, with the large project on construction of a dairy processing plant, which will allow to produce up to 10-20 tons of milk per day, create 100-150 new jobs and opportunities for milk sales to farmers of Kochkor and Jumgal regions.

The Kyrgyz president toured the progress of construction of a new building of the Public Service Centre, where locals will be able to receive services of the Civil Registry Office, passport office, archive and notary in a "single window" format. The construction is scheduled for completion in August this year.

Besides, the head of state visited the Sal-Em plant engaged in breeding Aberdeen Angus cattle, thoroughbred Russian horses and sheep of Gissar breed.

During the trip, Sooronbay Jeenbekov talked to local residents who also had personal questions.

In particular, residents of a number of villages in Kochkor region asked for help with the problem of waterlogging of houses. There were also requests on transformation of land for construction of housing, restoration of the regional salary coefficient in schools.

Jeenbekov noted all the issues of the local residents have been taken into account and will be resolved by local authorities and relevant state bodies.

Today, Aug. 20, Sooronbay Jeenbekov will visit At-Bashy and Naryn regions, as well as Naryn town.
