Bishkek, Oct.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Yesterday, Oct. 17 President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov has begun his two-day working visit to Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.
On the first day the President held a meeting with residents of Toktogul region, told them about the main directions and objectives of the state policy of regional development, his press service reported.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov dwelt on measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in oblasts, to provide the population with clean drinking water, to implement irrigation projects, to develop the agro-industrial complex, to increase the affordability of mortgage lending for the population.
Local residents raised the issues of clean water, electricity tariffs, construction and reconstruction of roads, schools, medical and sports facilities, social benefits, lack of land, transformation of land.
In addition, they addressed the President with personal questions, including those in writing, also Jeenbekov and heads of relevant ministries and agencies answered the questions of Toktogul region residents.
Besides, on the first day of the working visit, Sooronbay Jeenbekov got acquainted with the activities of the Aselim sewing shop, toured the exhibition of honey products and the progress of the clean water project in Kara-Tektir village of Toktogul region.
