First deputy Cabinet head holds negotiations with Deputy PM of Russia and head of Tatarstan

Bishkek, May 17, 2024. /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, as part of his participation in the International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum,” held negotiations with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin and Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues on the current agenda of interaction.

The deputy chairman of the Cabinet noted the allied relations and strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, which is being strengthened both within the bilateral format and through integration associations.

“We actively interact in almost all spheres of life, trade and investment cooperation is confidently developing,” said Adylbek Kasymaliev.

He also mentioned the recent visit of the president of Kyrgyzstan to Kazan and noted a fruitful meeting with the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Kasymaliev also emphasized that this forum brings together not only representatives of government bodies, international organizations, parliamentarians, diplomats, spiritual leaders, but also investors, financiers, entrepreneurs and manufacturers.

“The event opens up new opportunities for discussing the prospects for joint projects at the interstate and interregional levels,” he said.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin said that Kyrgyzstan is a close strategic partner of Russia, noting with satisfaction the pace of cooperation in the transport, energy, cultural, educational and investment spheres and expressed the readiness of the Russian side to continue to deepen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed gratitude to Adylbek Kasymaliev for participating in the International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”.

He especially emphasized the close relations between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan, which are successfully strengthening every year.

Afterwards, Minnikhanov conveyed greetings to the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, warmly mentioning his visit to Kazan to participate in the opening ceremony of the Games of Future.

“For us, Kyrgyzstan is a fraternal republic. We have enormous potential for developing relations not only in the trade and economic sphere, but also in the field of personnel training, science, culture, education, through the academies of sciences,” said Rustam Minnikhanov, noting that all projects and initiatives in terms of interaction with Kyrgyzstan will be fully supported by Tatarstan.
