First deputy FM of Kyrgyzstan and ambassador of Ukraine discuss bilateral cooperation

Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2022. / Kabar /. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev met with Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kyrgyz Republic Valery Zhovtenko on Friday.

The meeting was also attended by the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Idris Kadyrkulov.

During the conversation, topical issues of bilateral cooperation were considered with an emphasis on deepening political dialogue through the organization of mutual visits, as well as through regular inter-MFA political consultations. The sides confirmed their intention to hold joint events in 2022 as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.

The sides dwelled in detail on issues of trade and economic cooperation, prospects for increasing cooperation, discussed issues on organizing a bilateral business forum, as well as holding a regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission.
