Bishkek, Jan. 16, 2018 /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Dinara Kemelova held a meeting with Ambassador of Russia to the Kyrgyz Republic Andrei Krutko.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the sides summed up the results of cooperation for 2017, discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian regional cooperation and prospects for development of cooperation in 2018.
The sides also discussed the issues of accelerating work on the part of the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation on working out concrete joint projects of trade, economic and investment character, increasing trade turnover and bringing them up to $ 2 billion, opening trade and logistics centers, attracting Russian investments in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Kemelova stressed the need to intensify the work of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission and discussed with the Russian Ambassador the dates of the next 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and also touched upon the issue of activation of the Kyrgyz-Moscow Intergovernmental Commission.
An exchange of views took place on the holding of a number of events related to the celebration of Chyngyz Aitmatov’s jubilee.
In addition, the interlocutors discussed the issues of the stay of Kyrgyz citizens in the Russian Federation.
