Bishkek, March 29 / Kabar /. First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Dinara Kemelova met with Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in Kyrgyzstan Renee Holenstein.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the current situation and possible prospects for the development of water and energy cooperation in Central Asia, including within the forum "Energy of the Future" organized by the Swiss side in 2017.
Supporting Switzerland's initiative to create a dialogue platform for Central Asian countries on water and energy issues, Kemelova said that the main aspects of regional cooperation and stressed the importance of seeking balanced solutions that meet the interests of all countries in Central Asia.
At the end of the meeting, the sides confirmed their readiness to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.
