Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2020. /Kabar/. First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Artem Novikov took part in a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) by videoconference, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government said Saturday.
Opening the meeting, the EEC Council members congratulated Artem Novikov on his appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic with assuming duties of a member of the EEC Council.
The EEC Council meeting discussed more than 30 issues, including the removal of obstacles in the domestic market of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) the settlement of the situation associated with the "blacklisting" and a ban on entry for Kyrgyz carriers who have committed administrative violations, as well as issues related to the regulation of the single market for EAEU public procurement.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify the schedule of meetings of the Council to agree on all issues before the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC) and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC).
