Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2018. /Kabar/. A show of Kyrgyz designer national garments and clothes has been held for the first time in Tokyo. The event, entitled "Evening of Kyrgyz Culture", with the participation of well-known Kyrgyz designers, was organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Japan jointly with Soya International.
In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Aidarbekov noted that this unique evening is aimed at promoting the cultural and tourist potential of Kyrgyzstan, as well as Kyrgyz products to the Japanese market.
High praise from the guests were received by a show of collections of Kyrgyz national costumes; concert program; photo exhibition; exhibition of traditional ornaments and souvenirs; as well as dishes of the Kyrgyz cuisine.
The well-known Kyrgyz producers of national products, reviving the great heritage of the Kyrgyz people - ethno-designers Gulzhan Iresh, Zhumabubu Sarieva, Yntymak Abdyldaev, Mirrahim Toktogulov, Asel Kalkanova, Gulmira Akmatova, Beyil Aidakeeva, as well as felt master Chotbaeva Kulmir arride in Tokyo.
At the event in Tokyo Marriott Hotel with the participation of more than 300 people, member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan, Head of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship League Gen Nakatani and member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan Asahiko Mihara, as well as famous Japanese designer Yumi Katsura delivered a welcoming speeches. Among the guests of the evening were representatives of Japanese major corporations, small and medium scale businesses of Japan, fashion industry, as well as public figures.
The "Evening of Kyrgyz Culture" is one of the events planned by the Embassy for the autumn of 2018. So, in November of this year. it is planned to hold concerts in honor of the 25th anniversary of TURKSOY called "The Great Heritage of the Turkic World" in Tokyo, Yokohama and Kawasaki. It is also planned to hold a conference in honor of the 90th anniversary of Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.
