Bishkek, April 23, 2022 . / Kabar / . Bishkek hosted on Saturday the CREATE4KG First Festival of Creative Industries of Kyrgyzstan with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
Delivering a speech at the festival, the Kyrgyz president noted that progressive, innovative, talented and creative people from all over the country are participating in the festival today.
"Creative economy is a relatively new trend. However, in recent years it has been actively developing as one of the promising sectors of the economy, based on the intellectual potential of man, and contributing to the growth of income and employment, increasing exports and the development of innovative entrepreneurship. In this regard, this very direction takes a special place all over the world, including Kyrgyzstan," Zhaparov said.
The Kyrgyz leader expressed confidence that the support of the state will help to unlock the creative potential of citizens and generate innovative products that are in demand around the world.
"In this direction, the state, taking into account current global trends, has given a special place to the creative economy in the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2026," Zhaparov pointed out.
The festival is the first such large-scale platform in Kyrgyzstan, which brings together about 1 thousand participants of different ages, involved or interested in the creative industries professions.
At the event, successful representatives of IT, digital professions, art and other creative industries from Kyrgyzstan, USA, Russia and Kazakhstan shared their experiences.
Creative Industries Festival CREATE4KG is held within the framework of the Creativity and Innovation Week to support the development of the creative economy of the country and the entire community of creative people.
The main objective of the festival is to present to a wide audience the opportunities and ways to monetize their skills and creativity in today's reality.
