Jeddah, July 20, 2023. /Kabar/. On July 19, Jeddah hosted the first Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asia Summit.
The event began with a welcoming ceremony and joint photographing of the leaders of the countries and heads of delegations of Central Asia and the Arab states.
The summit was chaired by Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
In his speech, President Sadyr Zhaparov proposed to actively promote interregional cooperation and exchange of experience in such vital sectors as: energy, infrastructure, agriculture, transport, healthcare, tourism, digitalization and innovation.
As a result of the Summit, the heads of states and delegations adopted a Joint Statement.
