First Kyrgyz conquers top of mountain of Antarctica

Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2022. / Kabar /. The first Kyrgyz to climb to the top of the Vinson Massif in Antarctica was Kadyr Nurmamatov, according to the website by the climbing club "Club 7 Peaks".

President of the 7 Peaks Club Alexander Abramov announces that the expedition to Antarctica to the Vinson Massif has ended.

The team included participants from different countries: India, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Russia.

“This is true friendship between peoples. Everyone helped everyone, worried, rejoiced together. Great team. As a result, the first Kyrgyz, Kadyr Nurmamatov, stood on top of the Vinson Massif. And also the oldest Hindu who completed the Seven Summits project - Sharad Kulkarni. And the second Hindu woman who climbed the Vinson Massif is Anvita Padamati,” said the president of the organization.
