The First Lady expressed her hope that the Forum will become a tradition and that its organization on an annual basis will contribute to the development of new initiatives and common approaches in solving urgent problems of women's development in modern society.
“I am sure that by joint efforts we will contribute to the creation of favorable conditions for the full disclosure of the potential of women in Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In order to achieve this common goal, I consider it important to create a solid legal base, provide the necessary state support and promote the activities of women's associations in every possible way.
In this regard, we have a very good, I would even say exemplary example - the Eurasian Women's Forum,” she said.
The First Lady focused on the fact that today women occupy an important place in society, participate in public and political activities, implement large business projects and make a great contribution to ensuring the well-being of the two countries. We are witnessing how the process of development of civil society entails the inevitable transformation of the role of women in the world. Women are increasingly participating in decision-making, the comprehensive protection of gender equality is being actively promoted, and its multifaceted aspects are taken into account.
