Bishkek, June 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . Women can make a lot of reforms in politics and change the way of life in society, First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aigul Zhaparova said Tuesday at a ceremony honoring women deputies of the local council.
The spouse of the Kyrgyz leader congratulated all women who were able to show their will and get elected to the local councils.
"This is very encouraging and ambitious. The representation of women in local councils shows that the country is moving towards democracy and is working hard to respect gender balance. I am very happy to be present at such an event, and I want to express my admiration for you," Zhaparova said, noted that she is ready to support women leaders in every way possible.
"I believe that women can make many reforms in politics and change the way society lives. Because women are very strong by nature and can do several things at once: raise children, take care of the family and solve the problems of the state," the first lady stressed.
