First machine-building plant worth $ 150 mn to be built in Osh

Osh, Feb. 5, 2019. /Kabar/. Construction of the plant began in May 2018 in the city of Osh. At the first stage, the total area of industrial buildings will be more than 10 thousand square meters. The start of production at full capacity is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2019.

The total investment will amount to more than $ 150 million, of which $ 10 million is provided for the first stage of construction, most of which will be spent on the purchase of equipment.

The construction of the plant is performed by the Kyrgyz Unaa Kurulush LLC (Kyrgyz: ОсОО «Кыргыз Унаа Курулуш»). It is planned to produce hydroturbines of the Ossberger and Pelton type, various types of generators at the plant, and also it is planned to organize the assembly of electric vehicles in the future.

The industrial enterprise will be equipped with modern machines of European and Russian production. Thanks to this equipment, the entire industrial process will be automated to the fullest extent.

For the work of the enterprise it is planned to attract highly qualified specialists from Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Russia. The total number of plant personnel will be more than 300 people. To ensure stable and high-quality production, the plant management also intends to attract highly qualified specialists from Europe. In addition, in order to train local personnel, founder of the corporation Nurbek Osmonov financed from his personal funds the training of 10 young Kyrgyz specialists in Europe.

Products of the enterprise:

- A set of equipment for hydroelectric power plants, including turbines, generators and electrics;

- Diesel and gasoline generators;

- Wind generators;

- Different types of machines;

- Pumps and gate valves;

- Electric cars.
