Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2021. / Kabar /. The first meeting of the VII convocation of the Kyrgyz Parliament (Jogorku Kenesh) will be held on Dec. 23, 2021.
The press service of the parliament said that the last meeting of the sixth convocation of the parliament will take place today, Dec 22.
The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan were held on Nov. 28 through a mixed electoral system, with 54 members of the 90-member parliament elected according to a proportional system from political parties, and 36 others elected from single-mandate constituencies on a majority basis.
According to the results of parliamentary elections, 6 political parties overcome the 5% threshold and will enter the Parliament. In particular, Ata-Zhurt Kyrgyzstan will receive 15 deputy mandates, Ishenim - 12, Yntymak – 9, Alliance – 7, Butun Kyrgyzstan – 6, Yiman Nuru - 5 deputy mandates.
