Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2020 / Kabar /. The first meeting of the Government of Kyrgyzstan in a new composition was held under the chairmanship of Acting President, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
Opening the government meeting, Acting President, Prime Minister of the country Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the Kyrgyz Republic turned up in a difficult situation, which affected all spheres of human life.
“The current situation requires prompt and adequate measures. In this regard, there is an urgent need to develop a special program aimed at stabilizing macroeconomic indicators. We must provide support for small and medium-sized businesses, investors, provide them with a stable business,” Sadyr Zhaparov said.
He noted that within the framework of preventing and minimizing crisis manifestations, state policy will be aimed at solving the following tasks:
1. Support for small and medium-sized businesses and protection of investors;
2. Budget support;
3. Support for export-import operations;
4. Digitalization of sectors;
5. Reduction of administrative barriers and simplification of business introduction procedures.
To solve these problems, a draft order of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On approval of the short-term action plan of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic to stabilize the economy" was developed.
Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Sanzhar Mukanbetov made a report on this issue.
He noted that the adoption of this project will create conditions for ensuring the sustainability of macroeconomic indicators and provide support for business, exports, agriculture and the most vulnerable segments of the population.
Also, this draft order is aimed at creating conditions for expanding social programs for the development of education, health care and the implementation of other state obligations.
