Bishkek, June 1, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s first online children’s summit, dedicated to the International Children's Day has started.
Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aida Ismailova delivered a congratulatory speech. She addressed the young people of the country with her best wishes.
"We warmly congratulate you on your wonderful holiday- International Children's Day. It unites all mankind around an important issue - protection of children's interests and rights, solution of their health issues, education and upbringing. Today, the main task of the Government is to make every child feel the love and care of adults, feel his/her important place in life, live in a family and be surrounded by family care," Ismailova said.
The deputy PM noted the state is obliged to ensure children's rights, and educators and teachers should create conditions for development of every child.
"Much is being done in our state to make the life of children richer and more interesting: health grounds and sports complexes are being built, new kindergartens and schools are being opened, and work is being done to improve the mechanisms of social protection and child protection. The main task for adults is to raise a physically and morally healthy generation, protect children's rights, protect them from cruelty and violence," she stressed.
The event is organized by the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Children and adolescents from all over the country are meeting online to discuss pressing issues that concern them.
During the summit, three key issues will be discussed: what the coronavirus taught, the need to live in a safe environment and the main problems concerning girls.
