First Service Center for maintenance of mining equipment opened in Balykchy

Bishkek, Jan. 26, 2018 / Kabar /. Today the official dealer of the largest American Machine-Building Company Caterpillar, Borusan Makina Kazakhstan together with Kyrgyzaltyn Company opened a Service Center for maintaining heavy mining equipment located on the basis of the Kyrgyzaltyn Motor Transport Department, Balykchy, Issyk-Kul oblast, Kyrgyzstan.

Its total area is more than 5 thousand square meters, the press service of the Kyrgyzaltyn reported. The Service Center meets the world standards of maintenance and is currently the only one of its kind in the territory of Kyrgyzstan, which makes possible for mining enterprises of our country, including such a giant as Kumtor, to get high-quality repair work for mining equipment units in the shortest possible time, without leaving the country. The construction of this center will open great prospects for future expansion of this spectrum of works.

Kyrgyzaltyn Company concluded an agreement with Borusan Makina Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2017 on socio-economic cooperation and provided non-residential area for upgrading such a level of Service Center on the terms of a Lease Agreement.

Opening this level of Service Center is important economically. The local budget of Issyk-Kul region will receive more than one mln soms per year. In addition, more than 40 specialists from Kyrgyzstan are already working on the base, 10 of them have been trained at the Center for the Rehabilitation of Nodes (the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan). The staff learned the basics of professional repair of large special equipment. There are all necessary conditions for living here. Work specialists will be on a rotation basis - for 15 days.
