First test drive of 5G technology completed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2023 / Kabar/. Mobile operators of Kyrgyzstan conducted test trials of 5G technology on the territory of the country.

The Ministry of Digital Development said that according to the results of test tests, the following results were achieved:

- data transfer rate 1690-2000 Mbps, which is 7 times more than 4G.

- data reception rate 105 Mbps,

- delay 14 ms,

- increase in bandwidth from 33% to 100% compared to 4G.

During test trials, telecom operators demonstrated the capabilities of 5G in the field of virtual reality, as well as the ability to control an industrial robot in real time and the quality of video content services. The quality of video content services implies viewing video with a resolution of 8K Ultra HD.

Currently, the cellular operator MegaCom has completed the first test drive of 5G technology.

Last year, 5G mobile communications began to be tested in the republic.

5G is the fifth generation of wireless network technology. 5G offers faster download and upload speeds, while at the same time allowing more devices to connect at the same time.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of knowledge about 5G, there are negative rumors among the population about the alleged harm of the technology and its dangerous impact on human health.

But in fact, 5G provides a lot of convenience to a person. First of all, affordable and high-quality Internet connection. For example, with the help of new technology in real time it will be possible to perform the most complex operations. And for people who are engaged in agriculture, the technology provides the ability to remotely control agricultural machinery and monitor the condition of fields.

Finally, 5G will bring clarity and quality to ultra-high-definition video and virtual reality events.

In general, 5G can have an impact on a completely different level than 4G. The data transfer rate will be ten times higher and, under better conditions, can reach 20 gigabits per second, while 4G gives only 100 megabits per second. This difference allows you to download dozens of full-length movies to your device in a few seconds.
