Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2024 . / Kabar / . Governor of Kyrgyzstan's Osh Oblast Elchibek Dzhantaev visited Uzgen region, where he familiarized with the progress of completion of construction of the first toll road in the country.
The Osh Oblast state administration reported that the length of the road is 14 kilometers, width - 22 meters, two bridges of 200 and 97 meters have been built. Today the construction of the road and the bridge has been completed. Currently, the installation of protective fencing on the roadside and the creation of a toll collection point are nearing completion.
If the new road is put into operation, drivers on the Bishkek-Osh route will not enter Uzgen town, but will travel through the traffic circle, which will significantly reduce traffic congestion and improve road safety.
