Bishkek, April 12, 2022. / Kabar /. The first tulip blooming festival was held today in Bishkek.
The event was held at the laboratory of flower and ornamental crops, the Gareev Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences wrote in social networks.
At the festival leading researcher of the laboratory Popova told and showed a collection of tulips of the natural flora of Kyrgyzstan and a collection of cultivars.
Also, a quiz dedicated to tulips was organized for the participants of the festival, posters about wild-growing tulips of Kyrgyzstan and eco-bags were presented to the active participants of the festival.
Various festivals dedicated to tulips have been held in the world for many years, perhaps this tradition will be revived in Kyrgyzstan too, because there is already a beginning and this festival will have its continuation, the report said.
