Bishkek, Apr. 8, 2020 / Kabar /. First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov at a briefing in the Government House spoke about the activities of the Republican headquarters in the fight against coronavirus infection COVID-19.
Reporters asked whether they can cancel the holding of parliamentary elections in connection with the current situation in the country.
“I hope this will not happen,” said Kubatbek Boronov.
The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan were scheduled for Oct. 4, 2020.
Today, another 42 new COVID-19 cases were revealed in Kyrgyzstan, a total of 270, according to Health Ministry. 25 citizens were cured and discharged from hospitals. Four have passed away.
A state of emergency was introduced in Kyrgyzstan’s some cities and regions from April 25 till April 15.
