Bishkek, Aug. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. Ilshat Public Foundation handed over 5 ambulances worth KGS 10,150,000 to health-care facilities of the republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government said Wednesday.
Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Prime Minister Akram Madumarov noted that in a difficult period for the country, citizens, volunteers and medical workers provide all possible assistance in the fight against coronavirus infection.
"On behalf of the Kyrgyz Government I would like to express my gratitude to our doctors, who, risking their health, continue to fight for the lives of their fellow citizens. They have shown a true example of serving the people and the country. Along with them, volunteers help them tirelessly. Thanks to you we were able to turn the situation around," Madumarov said.
The Ilshat Public Foundation started its active work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During this period, the collected funds were used to purchase special vehicles, medicines, personal protective equipment, medical equipment, food for doctors and population in seven oblasts and large cities of the republic.
