Flashmob of students against bride kidnapping held in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 6, 2018 / Kabar /. Flashmob "Biz, jashtar - kyz ala kachuuga zhana erte turmush kuruuga karshibyz" was held on the Central square of Bishkek.

The flashmob was organized by Enactus Kyrgyzstan with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports.

By organizing this flashmob the students of Kyrgyzstan oppose the bride kidnapping and early marriages.

Students of secondary professional institutions, colleges, universities of Bishkek appealed to youth and their parents to stop the practice of kidnapping brides, forcing girls to early marriages.

The students intend to pass the baton of flashmob to all regions of the republic.

Students urge all those who are not indifferent to say "Stop!" to the shameful practice of early marriages and kidnapping of brides.
