Flow of Arabian tourists to Kyrgyzstan increases: Tourism Department director

Bishkek, Oct.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Over the past 4 years, the number of tourists from Saudi Arabia has increased to 10 thousand, Director of Department of Tourism Maksatbek uulu Damir said.

According to his data, in 2015 only 800 tourists visited Kyrgyzstan.

“We expect increasing number of tourists from Saudi Arabia by another 20% in 2020. We also plan to attract investment in tourism from this country. After today's meeting of the Cooperation Committee, we talked to Saudi officials, where they expressed interest in investing finances and ideas in certain tourist facilities and requested additional information,” the director said.
