Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2018 / Kabar /. Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov received Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (CCTS / Turkic Council) Bagdad Amreyev, who arrived in Bishkek for a working visit.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of interaction between the member states of the Turkic Council in various fields, including the implementation of the agreements of the heads of state and the decisions of the 6th Summit of the CCTS in Cholpon-Ata, which was chaired by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the instructions of the heads of state regarding the reform of the Turkic institutions and increasing the efficiency of their work, as well as the international activities of the Turkic Council and the planned activities for 2019.
Aidarbekov noted the need to focus on economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the implementation of specific projects in these areas, which would be in the interests of all member states of the CCTS.
Kyrgyzstan during its chairmanship in the Organization in 2018-2019 will make efforts to strengthen constructive and fruitful cooperation, friendship and partnership between the Turkic-speaking states.
