Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Investment of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev received copies of credentials from Ambassador of Azerbaijan Latif Seifaddin oglu Gandilov, the Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
Kazakbayev congratulated Gandilov on his appointment and wished success in his new post.
The sides noted that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are brotherly countries. In this regard, the importance of taking measures to increase the level of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations to a strategic partnership was noted.
During the conversation, views were exchanged on the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, expansion of the legal framework, the schedule of contacts at high and the highest levels, as well as issues of interaction within the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States.
Kazakbayev emphasized the importance of holding the 4th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic, Scientific-Technical and Cultural-Humanitarian Spheres.
Gandilov informed about the agreement of the Azerbaijani side to establish a joint investment fund and locate the fund's headquarters in Bishkek.
The minister and the ambassador agreed to hold cultural events in Bishkek and Baku.
