FM Kazakbaev discusses with Zac promising areas of co-op within CSTO

Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2021 . / Kabar / . A meeting was held on Thursday between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas.

The press service of the Kyrgyz MFA reported that the meeting between Kazakbaev and Zac took place on the margins of the 28th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Stockholm, Sweden.

During the meeting, there was a detailed exchange of views on issues that negatively affect the situation in the region, as well as promising areas of cooperation within the CSTO.

Ruslan Kazakbaev stressed that not all agreements are being implemented, and in this regard, he emphasized the need to develop an appropriate mechanism to strengthen the partnership and develop mutually beneficial cooperation within the CSTO.

The minister noted the Kyrgyz side is interested in effective cooperation of within the CSTO in all areas of mutual interest.
