Bishkek, Nov. 15, 2023. / Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev received Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Tashkent, Dr. Javad Awad.
During the conversation, Kulubaev expressed condolences over the numerous casualties as a result of the fighting in the Gaza Strip, noting that the people of the Kyrgyz Republic share the pain and suffering of the Palestinian people.
The minister emphasized that Kyrgyzstan stands for an early ceasefire and remains fully committed to supporting the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the creation of an independent Palestinian state.
In turn, Ambassador Awad, expressing gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the meeting and the support provided, especially noted the personal participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov in the 8th Extraordinary Islamic Summit on November 11 in Riyadh and the unequivocal position of the Kyrgyz Republic on the Palestinian issue. He also informed about the current situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, noting the catastrophic humanitarian situation facing the civilian population of the Gaza Strip.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed hope for an early cessation of hostilities and confirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
