Bishkek, Aug. 30, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with President of the Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, who arrived in Bishkek to participate in the XIV International Competition of Akyns-Improvisers "Aitysh", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 175th anniversary of the famous Kazakh akin Zhambyl Zhabayev.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the competition was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Aitysh Public Foundation.
During the meeting, Kydyrali congratulated the Kyrgyz side on the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished further success in strengthening Kyrgyz statehood and building a strong state and a just society.
The president of the Turkic Academy informed the Kyrgyz minister about the current work and projects of the Academy, plans for the near future, including in terms of deepening cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
The Kyrgyz FM highly appreciated the activities of the Turkic Academy in the study of the Turkic world and noted the importance of preserving the rich heritage of the fraternal Turkic-speaking states.
