Bishkek, Jan. 9, 2019. /Kabar/. The first meeting of the foreign ministers of the India-Central Asia Dialogue countries with the participation of Afghanistan will be held in Samarkand on January 12-13, 2019, Podrobno.uz reported.
It will be attended by the foreign ministers of India – Sushma Swaraj, Kyrgyzstan - Chingiz Aidarbekov, Tajikistan – Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Turkmenistan – Raşit Meredow, Uzbekistan – Abdulaziz Kamilov, Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi. Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani will join them.
"The meeting participants will discuss promising areas of cooperation in promoting mutual trade, transport and logistics, attracting investment, innovation and technology in key industries, energy, information technology, medicine, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, as well as issues of interaction in the fields of culture, science and education, tourism ", the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Following the first ministerial meeting, it is planned to adopt a Joint Statement.
