Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2023. /Kabar/. The head of the foreign policy department of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, Lars Rasmussen, in New York City on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, noted the need to intensify political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as, in general, organize mutual visits at various levels.
On the multilateral agenda, the sides discussed interaction within international organizations and the European Union.
During the meeting, the importance of increasing economic interaction, maintaining mutual contacts, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties was emphasized. In this regard, Jeenbek Kulubaev proposed that the Danish side consider the possibility of holding ministerial consultations, establishing in the future an intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation, organizing joint business forums, as well as establishing cooperation in the field of education.
