FMs of Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait meet in Tashkent

Bishkek, April 15, 2024 / Kabar/. A meeting was held in Tashkent yesterday between the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait, Jeenbek Kulubaev and Abdulla Ali Al-Yahya, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The parties discussed the possibilities and prospects for intensifying bilateral interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait in political, trade, economic, investment and other areas.

They emphasized the importance of exchanging visits at the highest and high levels to strengthen the political dialogue between the two countries, and also exchanged views on current issues of the international and regional situation.

Kulubaev invited the Kuwaiti side to take an active part in the Investment Forum of Central Asian Countries and the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf scheduled for July in Issyk-Kul.

In turn, Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the need to use such platforms to strengthen investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait.

The meeting was held within the framework of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf”.
