Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2022. /Kabar/. Following the talks between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Uzbekistan - Vladimir Norov, who arrived in Bishkek for an official visit, a number of documents were signed.
Thus, the sides signed the following documents:
- an agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on separate sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border;
- an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the government of Uzbekistan on the joint management of water resources of the Kempir-Abad reservoir;
- an agreement between the Water Resources Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation on water management issues;
- a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Uzarkhiv Agency of Uzbekistan;
- an agreement on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Institute of Central Asia;
- a program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2023-2024;
- joint statement of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
