Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2022 . / Kabar / . A meeting was held between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia, the press service of Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Friday.
The two ministers exchanged views and outlined specific steps to intensify bilateral relations in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, social and humanitarian and other spheres.
They also discussed plans for organizing high-level reciprocal visits.
Kulubaev and Darchiashvili expressed their mutual and firm intention to work together to expand and comprehensively deepen Kyrgyz-Georgian relations.
During the meeting, the Kyrgyz minister also informed his interlocutor about recent events on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, emphasizing Kyrgyzstan's commitment to de-escalation and its unwavering position on resolving disputes by exclusively political and diplomatic means.
