Bishkek, July 27, 2020. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov talked over phone with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the conversation, the two foreign ministers discussed the state and prospects of further development of bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to issues of joint support and measures to counteract the epidemiological situation, associated with coronavirus infection.
The Kyrgyz FM expressed gratitude to the Emirati side for the humanitarian assistance provided to the Kyrgyz side in the fight against COVID-19, and welcomed the UAE Government's intentions to continue humanitarian cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
Aidarbekov also congratulated his counterpart on the unprecedented achievement of the UAE and the Arab world with the successful launch of the Hope Probe to Mars.
