The growth of consumer prices in republic is higher than expected, mainly due to the global increase in food prices. In July 2021, inflation in annual terms was 15%.
The observed increase in prices for food products on world markets and their limited supply in the producing countries determine the risk of continued growth of consumer prices in the Kyrgyz Republic in the second half of 2021.
