Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2022. / Kabar /. Viewers told Kabar that in the news releases of Euronews, in the materials about the aggravation of the situation on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, a one-sided version of Dushanbe was voiced. The interpretation is that the fire was opened from the Kyrgyz side, ignoring the agreement to cease fire. Only a few hours later, official comments and statements by the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan began to appear on the air.
Number of foreign Russian-language liberal editions also publish the same one-sided information, while the official government publications of Russia report that the Tajik military fired at the city of Batken from the MLRS.
“The Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported that the Tajik military launched a missile attack on the regional center of Batken and its airport. The objects of the city's civil infrastructure have been destroyed," the Vesti reported.
There is a certain bias in the presentation of information by various agencies about the situation on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Western and liberal publications show inexplicable loyalty to the neighboring side, ignoring reports of shelling of Kyrgyz cities and villages from artillery and rocket systems. They do not notice that militants of unknown affiliation without distinguishing marks are participating in clashes from the side of Tajikistan. The Western publications also do not report that that Dushanbe had pulled heavy weapons to the border in advance and tanks have been shelling the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
Very strange selectivity.
