Bishkek, Oct, 1, 2018. / Kabar/. Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev held a meeting in New York on Sept. 2, with Deputy Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
The sides reaffirmed the mutual interest in the further development of interstate dialogue, as well as enhancement of cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres.
Discussing issues of cooperation within international organizations, the Kuwaiti side was informed of the nomination of Kyrgyzstan for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for the period 2027-2028 and expressed hope for the support of Kuwait in this matter.
Besides, the issues of exchange of visits at the high and highest levels were considered.
