Munich hosts meeting of Kyrgyz, Kuwaiti FMs

Bishkek, Feb.16, 2020./Kabar/. As part of participation in the Munich Security Conference, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov met with Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the foreign ministers of the two countries discussed and exchanged views on topical issues of regional and international agenda of mutual interest.

The sides positively assessed joint efforts to establish direct flights, increase tourists and exports, as well as mutual support to elected bodies of international organizations.

As for the prospects of Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti bilateral cooperation, the sides agreed on the importance of intensification of visits at the highest and highest levels, agreed on the dates of a number of important events in the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.

The Munich Security Conference 2020 covers a wide range of security-related topics, including transatlantic and European issues, as well as emerging challenges for the international community.

The 56th Munich Security Conference is taking place on 14-16 February 2020 in Munich.
