Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2020. / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on the issue about the US authorities’ allegedly intend to introduce restrictions on issuing visas to Kyrgyz citizens, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov told Kabar Agency.
“The Foreign Ministry is already working on this issue,” he said.
Recall that the newspaper The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, said that US authorities intend to impose restrictions on seven countries to issue visas.
According to the publication, before the end of January, US authorities are considering introducing restrictions on certain types of visas for citizens of Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania.
