Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2024. / Kabar/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic commented on the detention of a 15-year-old teenager, who is allegedly a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On August 23 of this year, during the festival in Solingen (Germany), a man attacked participants of the celebration of the City Day, as a result of which three people were killed. The suspect was taken into custody. As part of this case, a teenager living in a refugee center was also arrested. The police believe that he could have known in advance about the impending attack. It is reported that the detained 15-year-old boy is a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany, there are no Kyrgyz citizens among the dead and injured. At the same time, the identity of the detainee and his citizenship of Kyrgyzstan are currently being established.
This issue is under the control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
