Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan decreases by 22.4% since beginning of year

Bishkek, Aug. 14, 2020 / Kabar /. The foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan in January-June 2020 amounted to USD 2 billion 577.4 million and decreased by 22.4% compared to the same period in 2019, the National Statistics Committee reported.

According to data of the committee, at the same time, export supplies increased by 2.4 %, while import receipts, on the contrary, decreased by 32.2 %.

The volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with the EAEU member states in January-June 2020 amounted to USD 1,054.8 million and, compared to January-June 2019, decreased by 17.3 %.

At the same time, export supplies decreased by 25.0 %, import receipts - by 15.0 %. The largest share of the republic's mutual trade with the EAEU member states fell on Russia (67.6 %) and Kazakhstan (30.3 %).
